Mrs. Stitches is a full service needlework shop specializing in hand-painted needlepoint canvases and unique cross stitch fabrics and charts. Finishing is available for pillows, rugs, wall hanging, and belts, as well as all kinds of Christmas ornaments and stockings.

Inventory includes Zweigart canvas and fabrics, Needle Treasures, Elsa Williams, and Paternayan Persian yarn. Specialty kits include Elizabeth Bradley and Beth Russell Victorian designs, Bucilla kits for cross stitch and needlepoint, Mill Hill Cross Stitch and beaded kits, and Susan Clarke Heirloom Beaded Amulet purses.

Threads available are Gentle Art sampler threads, Renaissance Designs specialty metallics and rayons, Beau Geste's Wonder Twist, The Caron Collection, Needle Necessities, Kreinik, Rainbow Gallery, Access Commodities, and DMC.

Cross stitch designs are readily available from The Drawn Thread, Cross Eyed Cricket, Prairie School, Homespun Elegance, Shepherd's Bush, Lizzie Kate, Mirabilia, and Just Nan. Reproduction samplers are many from R&R Reproductions, Sampler Works, Handwork, and Heart's Content.

Specialty fabrics are Glenshee linen, legacy linen, Belfast and Dublin linen, klostern, Tula, all counts of heatherfield in most of the colors, lugano, and jobelan. Regular linen comes in 18, 28, 32 and 40 counts.

Specific threads available for your stitching needs include Caron's line of overdyes and Impressions silk and wool, Rainbow Gallery's line of synthetics, tweeds, furs and silks, Kreinik's metallic braids and filaments, and Needle Necessities' overdyed floss, wool and pearl cotton #5, madras, spring, charleston, and velour. All 595 colors of Au Ver a Soie Soie d'Alger silk and 80 colors of Trebizond twisted silk from Access Commodities are in stock. The newest threads added are brown paper packages Silk and Ivory and Weeks Dye Works.
